It's wild to hear about birds falling out of the sky and hundreds of fish floating in the rivers. It seems like something out of the Book of Revelation. I guess we are getting closer to the Lord's return. Earthquakes in different places, wars and rumors of wars, and world hunger. All the news that hits us everyday on the television and internet should move us to get busy. We are living in a world that is imploding and if not by the grace of God, it would not last. We are definately living in the last days of our lives. I challenge you to make it count. Take up your cross daily and die to self. What good does it do to gain the whole world and lose our souls. Lose yourself in God and gain eternity. We are the only Bible the world sees. Let our life shine with compassion and love. Get involved with doing something that will effect peoples' lives in a godly way. We are His hands and feet. Let's get to walking the walk and let our works for Christ be the talk of the town. It is hard to believe how many men and women lost their lives in the attack of Pearl Harbor. Then all the civilians that lost their lives in 911. Now, all the soldiers that lost their lives in response to 911. It is hard to imagine people with such hate as to destroy other peoples lives without any conviction. That is the world we live in. Thankfully, we honor our soldiers and those who fight for our freedoms. It was cool to see VH1 Divas honoring our troops in Kuwait. Enough can not be done for all those who leave their families behind to guard for ours. If you know a veteran or soldier, honor them, and bless them. It is the least we can do. Days like today make me want to fly south, way south...Brazil South. I love all the seasons we have, but winter came quick. It would be nice to be stuck in the Fall and Spring cycle forever. It is a lot like our lives. Sometimes, things have to die before they can bring new life in the summer. Enjoy all of your days, hot or cold. I guess that is why we invented Hot Cocoa and Iced Tea. Now, we have the luxury of owning SNUGGIES in any color. Life is grand once again. Stay warm and hug your pet. God bless, Mike
